I am writing to share a great television history resource, plus a brand-new podcast series. First, the resource: the HBO Oral History Project, with 37 interviews of all the key figures in the network’s early history (1972 to mid-1980s). All the video interviews are available here:

Second, a four-episode podcast series, “Rated H,” based on the oral history series, available on all the platforms:

These episodes were drafted in an undergraduate class last fall (“Media in the Making: Podcasting HBO”), then polished to true (in my view) professional-caliber excellence by a handful of self-nominated students since then. I’m really proud of them, and thought to share—they could be great for television history and/or media industries classes.
