Dispatch #1: Common Ground here & now
What's happening in Common Ground this month.
Hello there!
I’m excited to be writing these words in our very first Common Ground newsletter. About what? To be seen. As I shared in the welcome message, Common Ground is both old and new: growing from the soil of a shared history, experience and knowledge for some of us, now sprouting through new connections, new possibilities, in new times.
Not in spite of, but because of the beautiful and terrifying uncertainty of this moment, it’s important to me that we share it with you, by exploring out loud, as openly and honestly as we can. As the graduation gift card that used to hang above my bed said: Paths are made by walking (in German: ein Weg entsteht, wenn man ihn geht). This has been a way of life for me ever since.
Welcome to Common Ground’s here and now, in which a courageous group of 10 of us has come together to listen carefully to what we’re being called to do. Now. (You can read about our recent gathering here).
What’s here, now?
While several of us are accompanying organizations and individuals in direct engagements, we are also (re)launching a handful of public offerings anyone can join, from old “classics” (that you will recognize from Greaterthan), to some new kids on the block. You can explore them below and see them at events.commonground.now
Thanks for reading and until next time😃
