Second, the A.I. Moratorium Coalition (of which Comix Action is a member) is throwing a Pizza Party before the Panel on Education Policy meeting on August 26! The PEP is NYC’s equivalent of a school board, and we’re pushing them to adopt a 2 year moratorium on “A.i.” in the schools. Come hang out, get some pizza, and testify before the PEP if you’re willing!

Join us at the August PEP meeting to tell the chancellor and the members of PEP that you want a two-year moratorium on AI BEFORE school starts.

And if you can’t make it to the Pizza Party at the PEP, please be sure to drop a note to Mayor Mamdani and ask him to establish a full 2 year moratorium on “A.i.” in the public schools for both students and teachers.
