## How are you?

The move is done! I am in Phoenix, AZ! Now to get the rest of my belongings that was shipped before I left Maine! I am going to miss those lobster rolls and days of sitting out on the rocks on the ocean shore.

Two surgeries and a move and I am relaxing and working and just resting before I do anything after the holiday weekend here in the US. I'm going to make this a quick one so let's get into it!

What's Going On?

As busy as I have been recently now that I am four months into my job at Knowbility, I'm starting to get to this newsletter a bit and streamlining it. Also, the W3C work has been a lot as well, I may have to cut back on groups because my work load is heavy and I rarely have time for personal projects and self-care these days.

I am moving to Phoenix, AZ at the end of this month. It is happening! No snow seems like heaven to me. As of this newsletter, it's now 28 days before I head west.

It's July, I went on vacation at the end of June and I leave (as of this newsletter) tomorrow for the East coast. I have however decided to take a leap and will be moving back to the Phoenix, Arizona area at the end of 2021. It may be hot out here, but there's no snow!

Halfway There!

We’re already at the halfway point of 2021 and it’s hard to believe, but here we are! Hope you, dear reader, are doing well and we can all see the light at the end of this long tunnel we have been in for over a year now.

Hopefully soon, we can be back at conferences and doing in-person events as well as visiting others without worry. We’re getting there! 😷

Well… The first month at Knowbility has been a busy one! Onboarding complete, I am now doing audits and things are going great! A lot to talk about this issue, so let’s get into it!

I have accepted an offer of employment at as an Accessibility and Training Specialist! I’ll be starting in a couple weeks from this newsletter!

Happy New Year!

WHEW! Thank gawd that 2020 is over! Granted, things are not going to change immediately, but the sense of a new start seems refreshing. Hope springs from turbulent times though. Let’s get to changing things in the world for the better!

I decided to take the month of January off. I needed a break. Now there will be some “work” mostly on a few personal projects and commitments to hold to but other than that, I am relaxing. Much needed R&R.

I just wanted to take this time to wish you personally a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, or whatever it is you celebrate, a peaceful, joyous, and safe holiday season.

2020 sure has brought some challenges that have been monumental to all of us, that's for sure. Hopefully with the advent of 2021 we can turn the corner and start our way back to healing as a whole. Together.
