WHEW! Thank gawd that 2020 is over! Granted, things are not going to change immediately, but the sense of a new start seems refreshing. Hope springs from turbulent times though. Let’s get to changing things in the world for the better!
I decided to take the month of January off. I needed a break. Now there will be some “work” mostly on a few personal projects and commitments to hold to but other than that, I am relaxing. Much needed R&R.

A bit of a self-promotion and tooting my own horn π― but I am proud of this accomplishment. My first publication online with writing. I am super stoked about it and the reception has been great. I did make a few oversights in the code, so I got to sharpen up there, but I have another article in the works!
Don’t forget the manual testing! Use a screen reader, navigate the site without sound and use the keyboard. Make sure tabbing works and also that you can tab through the navigation.
To help visualize tabbing order, Firefox has enabled a new feature when you inspect the accessibility properties of a page like so;
