Why I’m Rescheduling Class This Weekend
Dear reader,
This weekend, I was planning to teach Systems for Artists, a two-part class about structuring time with care, clarity, and alignment.
But when I saw that NO KING’S DAY protests were being planned for the same date, I paused. I felt like marketing a class when we are being called to the streets felt off. Pivoting when the world is in crisis is not always available, but in this case it was and I felt like there was a clear path forward.
I also want to honor how many actions have been happening outside of what is being organized on Saturday and what will certainly continue beyond this day.
This class is about building systems that serve our values.
And one of my values is making room for direct action, resistance, and collective grief. Northern Michigan friends - I hope to see you in Traverse City or Benzie County on Saturday.
This brings me to : I am rescheduling the class.
New dates:
Sunday, June 15 from 12–2pm EST
Sunday, June 22 from 12–2pm EST
BONUS ADDED : Co-working/office hours: Tuesday, June 17 from 4–6pm EST

I don’t claim to know exactly how to run a values-based business in capitalism. I am always navigating the dance between tending to our current happenings while doing my job, which often includes marketing.
