In the geographic texture of my movement vocabulary I learn everything about myself. The first kiss, the first dance, the first entrance, every piece of my body remembers how it was before and how it could be.
I am patient today. I move slower. I move at the pace of my slowest parts. I move at the pace to match the other in the duet.
I dance to silence
I dance to brat
I dance to ambient sounds
I am dancing again
Everything from the last week exists only in my body so I’ll end today there.
