Hey CATs!
In our last newsletter, we started collecting links and resources to help fellow CATs process some of the “climate dread” and emotional toll around the most recent IPCC report. You can see the original thread in slack (https://climate-tech.slack.com/archives/CFSTJ2XF0/p1628501729062200) , but thanks to @ollihall, there’s also a long lived summary page in outline too now (https://climate-tech.getoutline.com/doc/how-do-you-cope-with-the-emotional-exhaustion-from-major-news-like-the-recent-ipcc-report-W8mvaVDR7p/) . If you’ve passed through the grief stage and are onto purpose, there’s now a reading group working through the report together. You can join in the #academia-research (https://climate-tech.slack.com/archives/CJHG890C8) channel to learn more.We also have a new CAT, Rob Chan, helping moderate the #behaviour-psychology channel (https://climate-tech.slack.com/archives/C01CKLQ09QS) if you’re hungry for more resources.
If you want to help out others, check out a task on our âNeeds volunteersâ column on our volunteering Trello board (https://trello.com/b/C8vPpwJD/cat-volunteering) .
Remember you can unsubscribe (https://tech.us19.list-manage.com/unsubscribe?u=08b8a799dd414ce9163cf3474&id=97c1d5f785&e=[UNIQID]&c=ed57df8e4a) from this newsletter at any time.
