Ahoy, CATs! Hope you all had a good weekend. :relieved:
Over the past few months weâve been working on our Theory of Change in the organising team and weâre happy to finally share this work with all of you. Itâs there to provide clarity about what CAT is, what we do and how we have an impact. It’s gone through a few rounds of review already, before it goes online publicly, we’re sharing a link in the newsletter. Go check it out.   Last little note: if you havenât yet, please fill out our short 7 question survey (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScM4xfBiogHlSVEJJOtRq09WGeCk2hfWE5lvBerX2UAZUbAoQ/viewform) about climate justice! Itâll help us understand where weâre all at and plan an event that answers some of our community questions. CAT Welcome Call ⢠45min In our regular welcome call (for new CATs and CATs who’ve been in the community for a while) you’ll learn about the community, projects we’re running, how you can get involved and you’ll meet some fellow CATs in a small community discussion. ð For western friendly times sign up here (http://bit.ly/CATWelcomeWestern) ð For eastern friendly times sign up here (http://bit.ly/CATWelcomeEastern)
CAT Volunteering chat ⢠15min If you want to know about CAT volunteering, join us right after the welcome call with the same Zoom link.
CAT Salon ⢠1h Our “CAT Salons” are regular, thematic community discussions. We start with an 8-10 minute presentation from a lead discussant to level-set our conversation. This is then followed by 45 minutes of facilitated community interaction on the topic. We run our Salons in western-friendly and eastern-friendly timezones.
Join our Meetup group (https://www.meetup.com/cat-global/events/) to get notified for the next CAT Salon

:doughnut: CAT Roulette - 30mins - whenever you find a time
We’re continuing our programme of letting members connect to 1 other CAT member every second week for a nice beverage and chat about climate and tech. It’s a nice way to get to know other CATs, and you can start and stop at any time. Joining the #cat-roulette (https://climate-tech.slack.com/archives/C0202J3UYG7) channel to learn more.
