🌍 CAT Call for FOSDEM 2026 Participation
Hey CATs,
FOSDEM — the world’s largest open source conference — is happening 31 Jan – 1 Feb 2026 in Brussels, Belgium. It’s free, packed with hundreds of sessions, and a great opportunity to connect around Green IT, network with like-minded people and other CATs, and meet in person.
If you’re thinking of attending, presenting, or even running a stand, now’s the perfect time to get involved!
Join the #fosdem channel on CAT’s Slack to:
• Share travel plans and event info
• Discover sessions on sustainability and open source
• Get support if you want to propose a talk and become a speaker

🗓️ Key dates:
• Oct 30: Devrooms start accepting applications around these dates.
• Nov 9: Deadline to submit a stand proposal
• Nov 16: Deadline to submit main-track proposal
• Dec 1: Deadline to submit non-main-track proposal
• Dec 15: Developer rooms publish complete schedules
