A new episode and CircuitPython Day 2022
Hi everybody!
There’s a new episode out today hitting your earbuds. Meet Joshua Lowe, an 18 year old software developer who created EduBlocks in 2016. EduBlocks was created for both teachers and students and helps students bridge the gap in learning between Scratch and Python. EduBlocks has support for Python 3, HTML, BBC micro:bit, CircuitPython, and the Raspberry Pi and you’ll learn all about it in today’s episode.
I also have a special announcement: CircuitPython Day 2022 is coming up on August 19th. Each year Adafruit picks a day to celebrate CircuitPython and all things Python on Hardware and I’m happy to share I will be part of the celebration.
To kick off the day at 11:00 a.m. EDT, I’ll be hosting a panel discussion with four people sponsored by Adafruit to work on CircuitPython: Dan, Jeff, Kattni and Tim. We’ll celebrate all things code and community, take a look back at last year and all the cool things that have happened, and look forward as well. Have a question for one of them? Let me know, I’d love to hear it! Click the link for more details and I hope to see you there.
Lastly, a sneak peek of upcoming episodes only for newsletter subscribers:
- Aug 8: Joshua Lowe
- Aug 22: Brent Rubell
- Sept 8: Radomir Dopieralski (aka deshipu)
Thanks for listening and until next time - stay positive!
