Summer-ish update
Hello,
Its been a busy first half of the year and I wanted to give you a bit of an update. First, there was nice review over at Tabs Out for "Worry". Tabs Out is a great podcast/blog that focuses on weird/experimental/noise music and I was very honored they took the time to give my tape a listen.
On May 1st I finally uploaded the recording I made at ESS in December of 2013. At that session I recorded 2 pieces which are shown here unedited from the original recordings. I also went back and remixed them using the loops I saved on my laptop from that evening. The whole thing was mastered by Adam Stilson at Decade Studios and I think it sounds pretty neat.
Yesterday I uploaded the 95min drone "Not knowing what to say but saying something anyway (existing in a perpetual state of inadequateness)" which focuses on a very subdued tone that I tried to focus on for a recent set at The Whistler. I've written a bit more about it here. Its "pay what you want" and because of the limitations on bandcamp I had to split the piece into 2 files. If you would like an uninterrupted version I've uploaded a 320MP3 and a FLAC version.
320 MP3: http://we.tl/qcOKqFJYKC (216mb)
FLAC: http://we.tl/zdyHXPEATK (925mb)
For those of you in chicago my next scheduled show of 2015 will be at Transistor on July 24th. Keep an eye on my shows page for updates.
I have another release coming out in July on the Pan Y Rosas netlabel that is an about 50min of abstract sound mix from ASCII group show I participated in early 2014. Its uses samples I recorded during the one night show from the talk and general clatter of the evening.
Beyond that I hope to have another EP based around the live sets I performed last year up in early September.
thank you for your time. I hope this finds you well
