Hello ya'll, 

Last we spoke it was February and very cold in Chicago (both mentally and physically). Summer in Chicago is equally exhausting but at least moderately warmer temperature. 

It’s been slow going on the creating front but there have been a few things I proud of.

There is a release on the wonderful net label Pan Y Rosas Discos. Its based around a live set I played at the Jefferson Park Chicago Public Library. On Aug 27th I played a small house show and it was setup with 4 speakers. It was a blast to do such an intimate quad show. I made some stereo mix-downs of the set and uploaded it here: https://cinchel.bandcamp.com/album/ztr-c-m-as. The title roughly translates to “I’m wasting your time” (that is from google, If someone has a better czech adaptation for that phrase i would love to know. i am sure google is not 💯% accurate ). The cover photo is from St Vitus cathedral in Czechia.

I’ve had the following 2 tracks sitting on my hard drive since 2014. I made them for a split cassette that never materialized because…i am not sure. It made me sad that it fell through that I considered just erasing them but I really liked the 2 tracks. Especially “the thawing”.
