Autumn-ish Update
Hello
I hope this note finds you well. I wanted to give you all a brief summary of the year, a peak of what I'm planning for next year, and a treat for being so awesome.
Looking back over 2015 it was a pretty fun year. Somehow I managed to almost release something each month (I somehow skipped April and I will be skipping December) and while that seems like a lot I can assure you I am really proud of each one. Some of it was slated for 2014 but a network storage rebuild that summer delayed a lot of work. In honor of this fun and bountiful year I've decided to take advantage of a new option from bandcamp and give you all the ability to buy the whole lot in one swoop. For just $2.20 you can get all 22 releases I have up. I'll keep that sale live until the end of the year. I've hesitated with removing some older things I dont much like anymore, but they are still an interesting part of the story and I will have to live with that. You can find a link to purchase the back catalog on any release for sale, like this one: https://cinchel.bandcamp.com/album/live-october-7th-2015 which is a live mix from a private event I played in October.
I also worked on an EP the day prior in October, it was released on this interesting netlabel called @vaporcakes. Vaporcakes premise is limited edition downloads, after 30 downloads the release is removed. It hopes to bring back some of the limited/handmade CD-r feeling of the late 90's. More about them here.
Anyway, my release "sold out" in like 16min, but for you subscribers here is a link to download. Its called Steps^3(bonus day)

As far as live shows I have only one left and you all can be there no matter where you live. The wonderful Jason Soliday has started a weekly show on numbers.fm caled "the institute for implied imperfection" where he invites guests to join him in his studio and broadcast live improvisations over the internet-airwaves. He has asked me to join him on December 5th, 2pm-4pm CST (UTC -6:00). Tune in at numbers.fm or check out his soundcloud sometime after.
Lastly, looking out to 2016 should see the completion of a collaboration with Sound Awakener that is slated for a tape label. I am also finishing up work on a solo tape, and I hope to get in the studio with my violinist friend. Also working on a collaboration with a poet that might be released as tape+zine. Lots of fun things.
thanks for reading. have a wonerful end of the year. see y'all in 2016!
