A Short Stay in Hell is interesting and thought-provoking. It’s about a Mormon man who dies and instead of being reunited with family and friends, he finds himself in Hell. He must find the story of his life in a vast and infinite library. In this short novella, Peck explores the concept of eternity. I found this book to be somewhat comical at times and generally interesting. It makes you think. I’d give it 3/5 stars.
