FEAST on This: An Ebook Update

Hey pals, I’ve heard from a lot of people who want to read FEAST OF THE PALE LEVIATHAN, but for a number of reasons have struggled to be able to do so.

While supporting the physical release goes a long way in supporting Deep Overstock and Evening House, we’ve been trying to get ebook versions approved through IngramSpark for some time now, to no avail.

So, a solution appears: I’m now selling the PDF on Gumroad, with plans to release an EPUB variation in due time!

As a reminder, here’s a nice blurb from my friend Rebecca Summerling, writer extraordinaire, Cold Signal contributor and interviewer at Seize the Press:

“Feast of the Pale Leviathan invokes Hobbes for this hellish modern age. A ferocious and surreal novel, as beautiful as it is dread inducing, it speaks to that atavistic horror only found in the very depths of the ocean.
Full of strange magic, deception and sinister cults, this book sucks you out of the tempest and straight into its dark, labyrinthine guts.”

I really appreciate everyone interested in checking out this book, and I hope this will make it more accessible to everyone.

Can’t thank y’all enough,
John

P.S. While I’ve got you on the horn, another writer friend of mine has a new digital release as well. Karlo Yeager Rodriguez, a fantastic writer of mythic fantasy and weird fiction, has had his livelihood threatened by the government shut-down, and to try and mitigate that is releasing A Series of Hauntings, nine stories of the TropiWeird about Puerto Rico. His description below:

“Puerto Rico. Boriquén. La Isla del Encanto. Different names for the oldest colony in the Western Hemisphere. Feel free to sample any of the nine stories and find out why locals jokingly(?) call it La Isla del Espanto.”

His dream-myth "As the Shores To The Tide, So Blood Calls to Blood" influenced me a lot when writing FEAST, and I was honored to publish one of his stories in Cold Signal #3, which made the Stoker recommended reading list this year!

Thanks for reading and hope you’re all having a grand old time outside of everything being on fire.
