Introducing...Kind Camp

2022-11-07

Dear Friends,

Kind Camp - A Reflective Writing Community

I finished mentoring for Write of Passage! If you are interested to know what I taught for the past 5 weeks, I wrote up a self-guided tutorial summarizing all the sessions, titled “Overcome Writer’s Block with Loving-Kindness.” You may find this article useful for developing your own strategies to support your goals, while being kind to yourself along the way.

Continuing the journey of holding space for writers, I’d like to announce…Kind Camp!

Communicating the Vector…Draft Version

What I haven’t yet included in the Kind Camp landing page is the bigger mission behind the offering. To be completely honest, it’s because the mission resides in this liminal space in my mind right now, where I can…see Point A and Point Z, but the Points in between are still nascent and fuzzy. Yet I know from internet sage Visa that “communicating the vector” (where one’s heading) is really important for projects requiring high amounts of momentum and group support.

So here are a few bullets…

Point Z (universal consciousness/ultimate happiness for everybody) is quite a grand goal, and it feels egotistical to say that’s what I want to achieve. Yet I don’t think “Christin” is the one who is responsible per se. It’s more like universal consciousness/ultimate happiness wants to happen and I happen to be the vector for a part of it. And I increasingly see that getting agitated in achieving this goal is counter-productive, though old habits do die hard. 😉
