CHILTERN LADIES

Seasons Greetings to all our members.

News of Members: Sad news about Sheila Harding and Shirley Rouse. A condolence card has been sent to Sheila's family.

The Committee are asking if members could pay cash if possible for membership, outings etc instead of cheques as our bank will be bringing in charges for any cheques.

Outings:

  • Snowdrops in February at Bennington Lordship 12.02.25 Cost £28. Pay by cash in January. 16 seater coach - leaving the hall at 9.30 back at 4.30 – 5.00 pm. Vanstone Garden Centre for lunch – 14 people have booked.

  • London Group visit to London Transport Museum, Covent Garden in March Pre-book fee for this is £23.50

  • Capel Manor Gardens, Enfield College on 21st May 2025 is now confirmed.

  • Warwick Castle in June £22 entrance fee plus coach

  • Christmas Event 2025 – Blenheim Palace lights- grounds/house including lunch November/December

  • Holiday for 2025 – Eden Project with hotel in Loo on 22.08.25. Cost £589 to be confirmed.

  • Christmas Workshop 18.12.24 Cost £10. Pay cash on the day.

Bring any greenery to share and cutters.

November Raffle raised £100 – a big thank you to Jeanette.

December Meeting:

Unwanted Christmas decorations sale – please bring any along that you no longer want.

Christmas Items are needed for the Food Bank – please help us with this.

Tip of the Month – last month's details for personal alarm as necklace or on wrist and a key safe to access your home in an emergency

Coffee Morning: At Orchard View, Meadle, on 22.01.25 at 11.00 am - stay for lunch.

January's Meeting is to be held on 8th January 2025.

Members to bring in any item they would like to talk about for 5 minutes.
