There’s no hot bunnygirl fanfic. Yet.

“Load-bearing Tomato” is a reference to a classic tumblr post that is far more accurate than people realize.

r/tumblr - It's a load-bearing tomato

A hidden tidbit that no-one knows about or knows what it does, but some dev comes along and explains the mystery and it turns out to be both fucking stupid and interesting at the same time? Perfect name.

So. Little bit of background. I have had many different jobs and roles, both paid and for fun:

  • Programmer

  • Game developer / designer

  • Producer

  • Network engineer

  • League of Legends / Overwatch shoutcaster & host

  • Esports broadcast producer

  • Esports media & interviewer

  • Esports tournament organizer

  • Datacenter manager

  • ISP / telco service provisioning manager

  • Startup owner

  • Consultant

  • Marketing / copywriter

  • PC hardware review writer

  • Musician

  • Tour manager & promoter

  • A/V operator for music theater

  • Photographer / videographer

  • MC at minor league pro basketball stadium

  • Forklift driver in a chemical plant

Needless to say, my life is weird. Always has been, always will be.

I’ve done way more stuff than one person ever should, strictly speaking, and that breadth of experiences has taught me to interpret things from a great many points of view, and then communicate the sum total of those viewpoints in a clear, direct, and informative manner.

Technology never exists in a vacuum. It affects us all - as operators, as users, as bystanders. My hope is that Load-bearing Tomato can impart the things less clearly seen to those interested — morbidly or otherwise — in peeking behind the curtain.

I hope you like what you see, or at very least, that you don’t look away.
