Hello,

We recently redesigned our website and added a few new exciting things. As always, you can read about our label transparency, who gets paid what and how to send us demos. But the first important update is that we are slowly moving towards self-hosting. For now all our music remains on Bandcamp but we will progressively add it on our website too. All our videos are now self-hosted though. The idea behind this is to try to gain some kind of independence from third party / platforms.

Have a look and let us know what you think: cherche-encore.info.

Another great added fixture is En Dehors (means "outside" in French). It's a kind of wonky mix series where we encourage you to submit recorded music or sounds that aren't finished, work in progress, live recordings, podcasts, anything that doesn't fit in a release. The first episode is Cerulean Waters by Johann Diedrick, a mini audio documentary about Newtown Creek, NYC, with Johann's music overlaid on top.

Other important news: our next label showcase is Friday 2 December @ Hatch Sheffield with digital selves + joana chicau, eye measure, meanders (daniel s. evans + jasper llewellyn), sleepsang + phoneutrian.

That's it for now.
