Crosspiece launch party
Hi friends,
One week today we will gather at Ormside Projects in south London to hear Theo and Caius play music from their new album Crosspiece. We would love it if you could join us - tickets are on RA: https://ra.co/events/1934861
Supporting are two great duo: Egg Meat, who released on Alien Jams, and Daniel Evans + Jasper Llewellyn who respectively play in Shovel Dance Collective and caroline. You may recall their tape Meanders we put out in 2022 (there’s a couple left!).
As usual we’ll serve free veggie food at the start, so make sure to come for 7:30 if you want dinner.

If you haven’t heard the new album yet, I can only encourage you to check it out on our Bandcamp. Theo and Caius did a phenomenal job - it was reviewed in the Guardian as “extraordinary and unique”. Here is a snap from their first gig playing the album in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Finally we just added a new entry to our series En Dehors. It’s hosted on our website only, and features music that doesn’t quite fit traditional release formats. It’s called starlings’ lament, keeners’ dirge and was made by Lu Rose Cunningham - a poet, artist and writer we very much admire. They recorded sounds at Wysing Art Centre and singing inspired by the old Irish tradition of caoníním.

A lot of very exciting news - let us know how you enjoy it all. And see you on the 20th June we hope, don’t forget to book your ticket.
