Rufus Bobbins left a will and a complicated set of clues to find his "treasure." At this level, we can work with a puzzle designer to create an elegant, complicated, plot-significant set of clues that our characters (and possibly our actors, in real time) have to solve. Will this mean a really elaborate puzzle box? We really hope so!

As the crowdfunding campaign for the Greatest Treasure In the World comes to a close, I cannot believe the enthusiasm we’ve received from thousands of people who want to see a silly improvised movie. I also can’t even really believe my fortune that people like Alex and Siobhan want to work with me. At all?? I’ve been in awe of them for over a decade and now Im lucky enough to call them collaborators AND friends.

I became aware of Fernie as soon as I was involved at ucb because he’s simply unavoidable: too funny, too smart, too tall to ignore and is unwaveringly motivated, compassionate and caring. He is without a doubt the most capable and talented person for this job. I feel eternally blessed to be in his and his family’s orbit, they’re all the most wonderful people you could ever know.

Siobhan is a full and complete lunatic and one of the most true blue friends you could ever have. I don’t know if any of this would’ve happened if we didn’t live three blocks away from each other for two years, where she’d Kramer into my home with treats or help build furniture or play with my kid. She is incapable of not trying to help you with all of your problems all the time. She’s outrageous and brazen, too intelligent for her own good and a sponge of the world and media around her and I think will win a Peabody or something.

Laser and his team are exemplary. Laser has an innate sense in finding various versions of himself who are also the kindest people of all time, like Alex and Adam, and give them work that they are excited to do. Laser is more ambitious than anyone has ever been in the history of time. He has become the person everyone needs to lean on because he is so multi-talented and faceted that he’s made himself THAT necessary. I really hope he takes a vacation soon.

This cast is literally a list of the funniest people I’ve ever met. I cannot believe I’ve convinced them I should be around them.
