May 2022 ⁂ Dedication to reality
Earlier this month I started a new job, my first professional transition in almost seven years. In that time I'd gained a mastery and speed with my tasks that created an efficient and reliable workflow.
In my new position, starting more or less from scratch with everything—work environment, relationships, and responsibilities—forced me to slow down, refresh my assumptions, remain humble, and inhabit a learner's mind. It's hard, but it's good.
