✦ STICKER CLUB NEWS —

✦ ART FROM NOVEMBER —
Managed to finish a couple pieces last month, actually! This one is one that I've previewed a couple times on the Aura feed:
"C(erberus)-PTSD", or "the guarded heart opens". I struggled a lot with the colours and composition, and I'm still not completely sure how I feel about it. But I like the way I stylized the littler wolves and the rainbow-ish hatching I did around the drawing. I wanted to capture this process of emotional processing that comes from older trauma states "rearing their heads".

This next one I wasn't confident about a title; I eventually landed on the very pragmatic "an impossible feeling". When I've been struck recently by an emotional fragment or something stirring from my past, sometimes it feels like an extradimensional shape passing through me that I can only brace for as it comes. I get a strange physical sense of being washed over by something I can sort of grasp at, but can't understand the full scope of - at least not yet. I went with a serval as the subject because they're honestly some of my favourite animals, and I've always felt that wild cats lend themselves well to more surreal work with their markings.
