I have two exciting bits of news to share with you.
1 - Centre County Solar and EV Charger Co-op
Going solar in Centre County has never been easier, and now is the best time to do it! The Centre County Solar + EV Charger Co-op just launched! It’s a free program that brings neighbors together to leverage their numbers and get a group discount on solar panels for their homes. It’s free to join, there are no strings attached, and there’s no pressure to get solar panels if you discover it’s not right for your home after learning more.
By joining for free, you’ll get expert guidance throughout the learning and buying process, vendor-neutral info about solar, and a discounted group rate on your panels.

2 - Draft CAAP forwarded to the General Forum
The Centre Region Climate Action and Adaptation Plan has been drafted. Today the Climate Action and Sustainability Committee forwarded it to the General Forum. On September 27 the General Forum will consider forwarding it to the municipalities for comment prior to adoption. Once it is forwarded to the municipalities I will be in touch. October will be the public comment period so I will let you know how you can read the plan, provide comments and engage with your municipality.
