I got one of those fitness tracking watches earlier this year to track my heart rate at the end of my pregnancy. I gotta say, my fitness was pretty non-existent for a while (being pregnant, newly postpartum, and also kinda just being lazy in general). BUT, this past weekend marked my "filling my rings" everyday for a solid month! I don't do super intensive exercise, but I follow some YouTube channels that have helped me ramp up. This one is a Korean channel of light cardio, and this one is yoga specifically for postpartum folks who are recovering. I won't be doing any marathons anytime soon, but this is honestly the most consistent exercising I've done in years, so I'm proud of it!

Last week, I had you generate a "count and say" string. This had a lot of directions it could go in, and y'all didn't disappoint! Great job Saad, Miguel, Usman, Ben, Ten, Stephen, Leo, Karthic, Neil, Rob, Jonnie, Sreetam, Bhavesh, Andrew, and Clifford!
This week's question:
Given an array of integers and a number k
(where k
is guaranteed to be less than the array's length), return a subarray of length k
with the minimum possible sum. Maintain the order of the original array!
Example:
> minSubs([1,3,20,4,8,9,11], 3)
> [4,8,9]
> minSubs([4,4,4,4,8], 2)
> [4,4]

Why didn't the number 4 get into the cool club? Because they're 2 square!
That's all for now, folks! Have a great week. Be safe, make good choices, and go the heck to sleep!
