Hello friends!

I hope you had a lovely week! I did a lot of traveling, a couple silly, but fun, videos, and launched my Kickstarter project!

Something that interested me this week

This week I finally launched a project I’ve been working on for a little while, Go: On the Go! It’s a travel-sized go set for anyone who is new to go, or wants to play without lugging around a giant board.

I personally love playing go, and do so nearly everyday online (and offline when I can). I started making little sets for myself when I wanted to play while traveling, and that sparked the idea of making it for others!

Kickstarter has a thing called Make 100 where you say you’ll make 100 of something, and I thought this would be a good way of getting the project off the ground. So far about 3 days since launch, the project is halfway funded! Getting the project launched was a lot more work and planning than I originally thought (handling pricing, packaging, shipping, production… phew, I just wanted to make go boards, and it turned into a whole ordeal), but I’m glad it’s out there in the world. Please consider either sharing or backing the project, if you’re interested!

Interview question of the week

Last week I had you implement the sum of n-digit palindromes. Nice work Dale, Andrew, Jehiel, Chuúke, Jeremy, Leslie, Louis, Ten, Cory, Oswaldo, Jaime, Ivana, Jacob, Dan, Austin, Julian, Dimitris, Lionel, Moises, Mayra, and Uzair!

This week’s question:
Given a number, return true if the input is a factorial of any natural number.

Example:

> isFactorial(3)
> false
> isFactorial(6)
> true
