Phew, this week was VERY stressful with the lack of election news and a bunch of stuff to get through at work, but gosh I am so happy that the results are out. There is a long way to go in the US (and the world, for that matter), but for now, it is great to get a win after all that's happened this year.

Interview question of the week

This week's question:
Your music library contains N songs and your friend wants to listen to L songs during your road trip (repeats are allowed). Make a playlist so that every song is played at least once, and a song can only be played again only if K other songs have been played. Return the number of possible playlists.

Examples:
