Hello friends!

I hope your week was great! I'm writing to you from Zurich, Switzerland, after an awesome conference I spoke at called AgentConf!

Something that interested me this week

This week I spoke at AgentConf in Austria, and it was a blast. The conference was super well-organized, had a diverse set of speakers, and a really fun vibe (we got to eat plenty of free crepes and play Mario Kart)!
The most unique aspect of the conference was a trip to Lech, Austria for skiing and snowboarding! About 50 folks from the conference joined in, and we had a wonderful time playing in the snow, bonding over board games, and of course, talking about JavaScript. I personally am a noob when it comes to snow sports, but luckily I wasn’t alone and got to practice with fellow conference-goers on some bunny hills. It was a beautiful spot, and I’ll definitely be applying to speak again next year! I highly recommend AgentConf if you’re looking for an event in 2021.

Don’t forget, my Kickstarter project is still live! It’s super close to being fully funded (woo hoo!) and I would love and appreciate your support.

Interview question of the week

Last week I had you implement a function that checked if an input is a factorial. Great job Becker, Ivana, Katherine, Ten, Sophie, Jesse, Jehiel, Nwosa, Denis, Gamal, Oswaldo, Michael, Klára, Samy, Austin, Joel, Hunter, Jose, Qais, Dimitris, Carlo, Leslie, Uzair, and Rubén!

This week’s question is a puzzler!
Write a function that prints “Hello, world!” but doesn’t repeat any characters in the program.
The program should not use any character more than once (except whitespace, I’ll allow that)!

Joke

The internet connection on the farm was really poor, so I moved the modem into the barn. Now I have stable WiFi!

That’s all for now, folks! Have a great week. Be safe, make good choices, and stick to your resolutions.
