Hellllloooo friends!

Another week, complete! This was a good one for me to round out the end of 2020 at work. I hope your holiday week is merry and bright. Until then, onwards!

Something that interested me this week

This past week I was on React Podcast! It was fun chatting with Michael and his community about the episode and career tips.

I've still been keeping up with Blogvent (blogging everyday)! It was fun to get a little shout in CSS-Tricks about it! Here's the posts I've done since the last issue:

  • Add Web Monetization to your sites with Snippet Injection
  • How to turn off telemetry in Next.js
  • Query an API at both build time and runtime with Next.js
  • React Children: The misunderstood prop
  • Adding Babel presets and plugins in Next.js
  • Enabling AMP in your Next.js projects
  • An Incredibly Serious Discussion about Next.js at Reactathon

I'd appreciate any and all love on dev.to for these as well!

Interview question of the week

Last week, I had you remove a folder from a list in a filesystem. This was a little tricky, nice work Sarah, Vanessa, Dhanush, Achraf, Mike, Adam, Ephraim, Ten, Vishwa, David, Paul, Leyan, Andrew, Ilya, Enri, William, Ivana, and Clov!

This week's question:
You are building stories into an app. Your inputs are an object with the structure { username, postedAt }, and a date in the future. Each story lives for 24 hours. Write a function that outputs the stories that are visible for the inputted time.
