Something that interested me this week

This was a super stressful week, but productive! I had a few things come out if you'd like to check 'em out:

  • Treat the browser like an operating system
  • React frustrations, web components, and hot takes
  • Bad Ideas are Good Ideas
  • Use CSS accent-color to style your inputs

Also I built a LEGO Batmobile, which was pretty awesome. And I updated my Obsidian theme, Cardstock!

Interview question of the week

Last week, I had you write a calculator for days between two dates. There were some creative solutions! Great work Sagnik, Nathael, David, Vesa, Miguel, Jan-Magnus, Thomas, Neil, Arban, Muhammad, Austin, Amine, Aodhan, Ten, and Ryan!

This week's question:
Write a function that makes an ASCII "honeycomb" shape of a given size.

Example:

> honeycomb(2)
      __
   __/ \__
  / \__/ \
  \__/ \__/
  / \__/ \
  \__/ \__/
     \__/

> honeycomb(4)
          ____
         / \
    ____/ \____
   / \ / \
  / \____/ \
  \ / \ /
   \____/ \____/
   / \ / \
  / \____/ \
  \ / \ /
   \____/ \____/
        \ /
         \____/

Joke

Americans can't switch from pounds to kilograms overnight.
That would cause mass confusion!

That's all for now, folks! Have a great week. Be safe, make good choices, and hug somebody this week!
