Something that interested me this week

Phew, what a week, what a week! I officially left my job at Netlify this past week, and it was also the last week of my twenties (dun dun duuuun).

It's very bittersweet leaving such an awesome team there. We did a lot of really fun work together, and I'm actually going to be staying on as an advisor to the company. In my time there I got to write a ton of blog posts and record a bunch of podcast episodes with the team, and I'm really proud of all we got to do with the Jamstack community.

I'm now going to pursue being a rapper. Just kidding. Literally nobody wants to see that.

And, I officially turn 30 in... less than an hour! It's wild to think about. Time is weird. I don't think any of us expected to be in the pandemic this long, working remotely so much, or moving around so much (or so little). But, anyway, these 30 years have been wonderful so far, in both the highs and lows, and I can't wait for the next 30!

This week's question:
You have to order wrapping paper for presents. Given the length, width, and height of the boxes you need to wrap, return the number of square feet (or whatever units you want) of wrapping paper you need to order. Extra credit: allow for other shapes of presents and their dimensions!

Example:

$ wrap(2, 3, 4)
$ 52 square feet
