This week I went to some fun events! I went to a meetup about role playing games (I admit I don’t know a ton about that space, so it was fun to learn from the speakers), and The Mux Informational (they are doing some interesting things with building real-time video), and Remix Conf. They were all virtual, but it was fun getting to learn some things that I don’t know as much about, and cheer on speakers.
I also did an interview on a Brazilian channel that came out this week as well (it’s in English but has Portuguese subtitles). Please feel free to check it out!

Last week, I had you find the shortest paths in a 2D matrix. Great job Karey, Will, Amine, Mo, Leyan, Ten, Ben, Les, Kelvin, and Giovanni!
This week’s question:
Write a function that determines if all the characters in a given string are unique. Can you do this without making any new variables? You choose if you want to include capitalization in your consideration for this one, as a fun challenge.
Example:
> allUnique('Cassidy')
> false
> allUnique('cat & dog')
> false
> allUnique('cat+dog')
> true
