Something that interested me this week
Phew, this was my last week before starting my master's program in computer science. Between class registration and the anticipation, I admit I'm pretty stressed out! I've been trying to take advantage of my limited free time by reading more, hanging out with friends, and playing board/video games. Everything starts ramping up in this next week, so we'll see how it goes!
Side note: my sister Cami and I got our Dremel laser cutter delivered this weekend! We're planning on doing an unboxing of it sometime this week, and we'll be streaming it on
Twitch if you'd like to check it out with us.

Interview question of the week
It's been a while since our last interview question! This one was asking for the greater of two powers, and
Kyle and
Mark had
great answers!
This week, I'm going to have you write out some answers to questions about pointers!
- What is the difference between passing by value and passing by reference?
- How can pointers be used with inherited or abstract classes?
- What does it mean for a pointer to be null?
- What happens when you use the dereference operator (&) on a null pointer?
