Hello hello!

I hope you had a good week! Mine was packed, and I’m particularly excited for this next one because I’m going to meet some of my coworkers for the first time this week.

Something that interested me this week

I went to the Van Gogh Immersive Exhibit this past week! It was beautiful. Getting to see his paintings in such a cool way, while also listening to the very emotional, curated music was really something to see. I found the Spotify playlist for the experience if you’d like to check it out.

In technical news, I was on Fauna Live this past week to start a new project from scratch with Next.js and Fauna, and also talked about the React 18 Working Group at React Contributor Days!

Interview question of the week

Last week, I had you get the product of two strings. Great job Gabor, Jesper, Deepak, Dominic, Ten, Leyan, Lenz, Ann, Vanessa, Rafael, David, Faisal, Les, Ben, Faisal, Glenn, and Dhaval!

This week’s question:
Given n pairs of parentheses, write a function to generate all combinations of well-formed parentheses.

Example:

$ formParens(1)
$ ["()"]

$ formParens(3)
$ ["((()))","(()())","(())()","()(())","()()()"]
