Upgrading jQuery: Working Towards a Healthy Web
I gave birth one whole year ago!! My baby is one!! Ahh!! I am incredibly emotional today about it. She's a beautiful, funny little girl and I can't believe we made it to the one year mark.
For her first birthday, one of the activities was to have her pick a starter Pokémon. Everyone out there, be warned, she picked Charmander!
Anyway, it's really hard to believe all of these highs and lows happened in such extremes over the past year. I've learned a ton and have been extremely humbled, and I am grateful for you reading this through it all!
Hackathon alert!
The Chainlink Block Magic hackathon, which runs from April 29 - June 2, is the perfect entry point to get started with onchain development.
With $400K+ prizes on offer, join the hackathon for curated programs purpose-built to help you understand the blockchain development space, educate you on fundamental skills and dev tools, and provide you with invaluable context regarding the space!
Also, for the newbies out there: The Chainlink hackathon is allowing submissions from existing projects/GitHub repos for the first time ever! If you have an existing project, you can add in onchain elements using Chainlink and it’ll be eligible for a hackathon submission.
Good luck!
Last week, I had you find specific substrings. There were some tricky answers! Great job Gu, Jeroen, Amine, John, The Math Jester, Mazen, Saad, Nathael, Ryan, Kyle, Ten, and Pozorvlak!
This week's question:
Given a direction and a number, write a function that outputs an arrow of asterisks with the height of that number! See the pattern below.
Example:
$ printArrow('right', 3)
*
*
*
*
*
$ printArrow('left', 5)
*
*
*
*
*
*
*
*
*
$ printArrow('up', 2)
*
* *
