Something that interested me this week

Whew, this was week 2 as a new parent! It’s still super challenging, but everyday gets a little easier. I am so grateful to the folks who have reached out to show that it’s not just me. Like… once again, everyone says it’s hard, but whew, words are not enough. But once again, I’m optimistic that it’ll keep getting better!

I had a bit of mental space this week to write about my c-section experience. It’s kind of a graphic post, as a warning, but if you or anyone you know might be getting a c-section at some point, it could be a useful read!

Interview question of the week

Last week, I had you remove the leading and trailing zeroes from an array. Great job getting creative, Phil, David, Ten, Leyan, Avanika, Chris, Amine, Max, Will, Josh, Jonnie, Michael, Muhammad, Miguel, Austin, Steven, Ɓngel, Carlo, Dale, Saad, Hristiyan, Daniel, Andrew, Don, Josef, and Jack!

This week’s question:
Sum the odd-square numbers less than a given integer n.

Example:

> oddSquareSum(1)
> 0

> oddSquareSum(2)
> 1

> oddSquareSum(9)
> 1

> oddSquareSum(10)
> 10

> oddSquareSum(44)
> 35
