Hey y’all!
I hope you had a good week! To the fathers and father-figures out there, I hope you had a wonderful Father’s Day, and for the Americans in the room, I hope you have a great Juneteenth! Let’s boogie.

I did some normal things (for me) this week! I wrote up a little technical blog about removing trailing space underlines on anchor tags, and recorded an episode of the Stack Overflow podcast! It’s been a while, and it felt good amongst all the baby stuff (and for those asking, baby’s doing great, and she is starting to smile now, which is SUPER fun)!
This week’s anonymous sponsor would like to feature Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library!
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a book gifting program that mails free, high-quality books to children from birth to age five, no matter their family’s income.
You can donate to the Library here, and subscribe to their mailing list here.
Last week, I had you trim an array. There were a lot of very different responses to this one, which were super fun to read and run! Great work Austin, Vanessa, John, Manuel, Kyle, Leo, Jonnie, Heather, Lucie, Clifford, Saad, Hristiyan, Ángel, Muhammad, Amine, Ten, Usman, Kelly, Craig, Holger, David, Daniel, Carine, Miguel, Andrew, and Churchill!
This week’s question:
Given some JSON data, calculate the maximum depth reached. Both arrays and dictionaries increase the depth! If the input is invalid data, the response should be undefined (you decide how you want that to return).
Example:
> depthJSON([])
> 1
> depthJSON([1, 2, 3, 4, 5])
> 1
> depthJSON([{"a": []}, ["abc"]])
> 3
