Play is fun. Play isn’t completely unstructured it’s just a scenario where you get to create the rules. There aren’t “no rules “ there are just rules of nature or rules of space or time but you get to set them. Play means looking at the world with new eyes, an opportunity to engage in opposite world…see how you can create a different reality for the fun of it. Play means making something by accident. Like a discovery or a new tool or a new feature. Play requires vulnerability …you have to be fearless and know the consequences aren’t that big of a deal …it’s kind of like gambling. Depends on what you plan on winning I guess. I plan on winning fun or process. Play shouldn’t require tools you don’t know? I don’t know what tools have to do with it… I suppose you should play with new tools in order to learn them.

Play is the easiest way to learn. By calling it play you feel a certain level of acceptable experimentation. Because in play the consequences are low, and just valued on how much or little you want to interact with the scenario. Play is just for fun, it’s just to engage in feeling, there isn’t another value to extract from it. Doesn’t make you any richer…only helps your brain make connections. So, seems like a really good tool for coming up with work. Tapping into feelings first. Letting the mind wander …then you start to bump into reality and see if it works in reality as well. What’s reality?
