Introducing: Banchan 🥢
If you've been with us since our last newsletter, you might remember our first teaser for the "Deep Dish" keyboard project. Our one and only design goblin has been hard at work since then, and we're finally ready to unveil the fruits of his labor! Meet Banchan, a one-of-a-kind 3D-printable case for Keebio's BDN9 macropad.
With its gently-rounded edges and unique curving plate design, Banchan has a look that all it's own. Its simple two-part design is easy to print, and it comes together with just the hardware from your kit. We've been having a great time mixing and matching parts to create different looks! Like the colorful side dishes that are its namesake, we think you'll find a new favorite in this design.
We'll be offering Banchan in a digital download format for folks who'd like to print their own, and, for the first time, we're considering offering pre-printed cases for folks without 3D printer access. Let us know if this is something that might interest you, and if you'd like to see the same option come to the Manta58, as well! Manta58 Updates 🌊
We've got some exciting updates in store for Manta58 this year! By popular demand, we're updating the current Manta58 design to add support for Typeractive's wireless Lily58 MX PCB. We'll send out another email once it's on the site, so don't forget to stop by and download the updated bundle!
Some bigger updates are in store for later this year, but it's a little too early to reveal them just yet. Stay tuned to this newsletter for more in the months to come—we can't wait to share with you!
Other Updates
It was my birthday this month! (Why do I always seem to write these emails during birth months? Hmm.) Pixljar got me one of my favorite city pop albums on vinyl, which has been getting heavy rotation in this house. What record should I pick up next? Let me know what your favorite albums on vinyl are. The Sound Burger must be fed.
