Welcome to the inaugural issue of the Capsule Deluxe newsletter! We've been working day and night these past few months to get our shop and products ready for the big launch, and--at long last--that day is almost here! I want to thank each and every one of you for your kind support, whether you responded to a Reddit post, completed one of our interest checks, fired off a question in a DM, or just signed up for this very newsletter. It's been a long time coming, and we hope you'll find our offerings worth the wait! ✨

October 14 - save the date!

We're thrilled to announce that our brand-new web shop, capsuledeluxe.com, is officially opening to the public on October 14th. We'll be taking preorders at launch for the first run of Keybjört R2 deskmats, and Manta58 case files will be available for download. You can expect a few extra products to fill out the shelves, as well, including PCBs, keyboard parts, and some very cool sticker designs. Mark your calendars, or just keep an eye on our social media feeds--we'll be sure to post once the doors have opened!

Hej, Keybjört

Thanks so much to everyone who took the time to complete our Keybjört R2 interest check! We got a ton of great feedback from your responses, and we couldn't be more excited for launch day. Our first shipment of mats is on its way to us as we speak--here's a sneak peek at one of our approved samples!

We're partnering with a handful of proxies to make Keybjört R2 more accessible to buyers outside of North America. Look forward to an update soon with more details! Until then, we hope to see you when preorders open on October 14th!

Manta58

This summer, we shared a few major updates on Manta58, our 3D-printable Lily58 case design. If you missed our Reddit posts back in July, you can get all the details at the link below! (Bonus: we made a GIF to show off the magnetic tenting legs, and it's a very satisfying loop.)

The full set of downloadable Manta58 case files, including both case styles and two tenting leg options, will be available for download on October 14th at capsuledeluxe.com. We're offering these files under Creative Commons licensing with a pay-what-you-want pricing structure. If you decide to build your own Manta58 or fork the base design for a new project, we'd love to see what you come up with. Shoot us an email or tag us on social media!
