In-Person Kick-Off This Week + A Chance to Give Back
🌀 Mesh Dispatch: In-Person Kick-Off This Week + A Chance to Give Back
It’s been a quieter week on the mesh front—most of my time went into driving around and posting flyers at local libraries to spread the word about Wednesday’s Kick-Off. Thanks to everyone who’s helped get the word out!
This Week’s Gathering: Let’s Connect In Person
The Capital Region Mesh Kick-Off is happening this Wednesday, October 29th—and we’d love to see you there. Whether you’re curious, committed, or just exploring, this is your chance to connect with neighbors, learn about mesh networking, and shape the future of local communication. 👉 Get the full details.
📬 To RSVP: please email events@capitalmesh.net so we can plan accordingly.
A Special Request: Help Us Support the New Hampshire Food Bank
As we build infrastructure for connection, we also want to honor the basic needs of our community.
Today, the USDA posted a notice indicating that SNAP benefits will not be delivered on November 1 due to the ongoing federal government shutdown. This will affect approximately 75,000 Granite Staters, many of whom are children, seniors, or families already facing hardship.
In response, Governor Kelly Ayotte and DHHS Commissioner Lori Weaver have announced a partnership between the State and the New Hampshire Food Bank to provide emergency support. Mobile food pantries and expanded aid are being deployed to help fill the gap.
If you’re able, please consider donating this week. Every dollar matters. Feel free to forward this email or share the link with friends and family to help spread the word.
Thank you, and I look forward to seeing you all on Wednesday!
