Three weeks out. The full session-by-session line-up is below — Guildhall talks and workshops, gentle sessions by the river, and a rolling programme of movement at the Sports Zone. Join us in this fascinating space which has served as the meeting chamber for Canterbury City Council for decades, filled with interesting history of the city.
Saturday 25 July
10:00 · Razzamataz Theatre Workshop (30 min) A high-energy performing arts session for children from Razzamataz Theatre Schools — singing, dancing and drama, with roaming characters out around the site too.
10:30 · Life in Tudor Canterbury: from Catholic to Protestant (60 min, Doreen Rosman) A journey through Canterbury's religious transformation during the Tudor period, from a city of Catholic pilgrimage to the heart of English Protestantism.
11:30 · Money Matters: 10 Things Everyone Should Know About Their Finances (40 min, Atram Wealth) A practical, jargon-free run through ten essentials — emergency funds, pensions, tax and wills among them.
12:30 · Your Story Matters (60 min, Brandspire) An interactive workshop on finding and telling your personal story, whether for work, creativity, or your own sense of purpose.
14:00 · Canterbury Speakers Club Open Session (2 hours) See public speaking in action and try it yourself — a welcoming open session whether you're terrified of talking in public or looking to sharpen your skills.
Sunday 26 July
10:30 · Flash Fiction Challenge (60 min, Brandspire) Can you write a complete story in under 100 words? A fast, fun session that proves great writing doesn't need a lot of space.
11:30 · Stour Monitoring: River Ecology Talk (45 min, Iain Goodall, University of Greenwich) Findings from the Great Stour river monitoring project — what's living in Canterbury's river, what's changed, and why it matters.
12:15 · Around the World in 45 Minutes (45 min, Savoir Academy) An interactive language adventure exploring the world through language, culture and communication.
13:15 · The Storymakers (60 min, Canterbury Children's Literature Festival) Become a Storymaker — create your own characters, treasure hunt for story elements, and put it all together in your very own book.
14:30 · Doina Foundation Community Talk (45 min) Radu Stancu presents the work of the Doina Foundation, a charity supporting Romanian community and culture in Canterbury and Kent.
15:15 · The Canterbury Storymakers (60 min, with Canterbury BID) Add your own written or drawn memories of Canterbury to a collaborative concertina book, to be displayed in the city early next year.

10:30 · Tai Chi and Qigong in the Park: A Gentle Introduction for Beginners (60 min, Paul Roberts) A calm, restorative hour of Tai Chi and Qigong by the river in Westgate Gardens — no previous experience necessary.
12:00 · Stour Monitoring Flash Demo (20 min, Iain Goodall, University of Greenwich) A short, drop-in demonstration of the Great Stour river monitoring project — what's living in Canterbury's river, and what the data shows.
Sunday 26 July
15:30 · Tai Chi and Qigong in the Park: A Gentle Introduction for Beginners (60 min, Paul Roberts) A second chance to try Tai Chi and Qigong on the lawn — gentle, restorative movement suitable for complete beginners.

Zumba (30 min, Kent Sport) A high-energy Zumba session in the Square — all ages and abilities welcome, just turn up and dance.
Kids' Yoga (30 min, Kent Sport) A playful yoga session for children — stretch, balance and breathe, no experience needed.
Taiji Taster (20 min, Wugong Academy) A short introduction to the ancient art of Taiji, with calm, controlled movement suitable for all ages.
Kung Fu Taster (20 min, Wugong Academy) A fast-paced introduction to kung fu and kickboxing — learn a few moves and feel the energy.
Sunday 26 July
Zumba (30 min, Kent Sport) Another chance to dance it out in Westgate Square — same high-energy Zumba, all ages and abilities welcome.
Kids' Yoga (30 min, Kent Sport) A second Kids' Yoga slot — playful stretching, balance and breathwork for children, no experience needed.
Taiji Taster (20 min, Wugong Academy) Wugong Academy return with another short taste of Taiji — controlled, meditative movement anyone can join.
Kung Fu Taster (20 min, Wugong Academy) A second kung fu and kickboxing taster — quick, energetic, and open to all.
