🎉 Cantata Newsletter #1: The New Cantata Site is Live! (+ New Forums & Guide!)
Welcome to the first newsletter!
Hello Everyone! Kyle here.
First off, I want to say thank you for subscribing to this newsletter! It means a lot to both me and the team that you're interested in Cantata and I'm excited to start sharing more with you as we move through 2019.
To start, I'm happy to announce that our new site is now live at https://www.cantata-game.com! The site has been rebuilt from the ground up to not only give you some basic details about the game, but to also be a portal into the world of Cantata.
I'm planning to post updates more frequently, touching on things like general dev work, inspirations, design thoughts, etc., so there should always be a reason for you to stop by every few weeks.
The Guide
Additionally, I've launched The Cantata Guide. I've always wanted a place for Cantata that felt like you could explore the game in the same way you may have read an old game manual. Something that teased the universe but also provided insight into mechanics. Something that told you enough, but not too much. For this and more, I'm excited to bring The Cantata Guide to the public. Like the website, this is a living document, so I'm excited to watch it grow as the game's development continues.
The Forum
Lastly, I'm excited to announce a brand new forum! Though for now it enjoys a humble beginning as a place to respond to news posts and talk about the game generally, my plan is to grow it into a hub for strategic discussion about the game, mod sharing and collaboration, and more. Go ahead and join and get a sense of the place, say hello, and look around. We'll be glad to have you.
You can visit the forums here: https://forums.cantata-game.com/
So, kicking 2019 off with a bang with three major new releases!
- A new and improved Site for Cantata
- A Guide to explore and seek out all the games inner workings and details
- A Forum to talk about the game and meet like-minded players
I'd love for you all to join the forum and get to talking, as you all are the backbone of the community right now and I want to get this started on the right foot.
Thanks for reading and looking forward to talking to you all more in 2019!
Kyle
