Weekly Update, January 2025

A few new bits this week, and some progress on my 5 slot 120 film holder!

New Stock

1. Nikon 50mm f/1.8 AI. Great condition - £85
2. Certo Super Dollina II. Uncommon folding camera - £70
3. Zorki 4, Jupiter-8 lens, in good working condition - £50
4. Fujica ST605n. New light seals and in good working order, makes a great first film SLR as it takes M42 lenses, which are plentiful and cheap - £45
5. Canon Lens Mount Converter A. This is an M39 to FL/FD mount converter, which is fairly uncommon - £20

Coming Soon/Repair Backlog

If you're after anything on this list, let me know and I'll try to prioritise it.

1. Another Mamiya 645 1000s. Needs new light seals and the 80mm f/2.8 kit lens needs servicing, but otherwise seems to be in good condition.
2. Canon EOS 550D. This has a stuck lens mount pin and some fungus under the rear screen.

3D Printing

I've finally nailed the settings required to get good quality prints of my 5 slots 120 holder. This has proven to be particularly difficult due to the length and height of it, which kept resulting in the ends lifting from the plate. I ended up fixing it by adjusting the first layer settings to be thicker, wider, and printed more slowly.

Expect some of these in a few different colours to start appearing in the market over time - they're quite slow prints.
