Weekly stock update
Weekly Update, October 2025
Taken on my Nikon F3/T with the AI 50mm f/1.2 listed below, on expired Kodak Gold Ultra 400
A few new doodads this week!
- Nikon AI 50mm f/1.2, cleaned and regreased. I've regreased this using the recommended grease Nikon use. I originally bought this for myself but realised I actually prefer my f/1.8 AI-S lens, go figure. The focus ring rubber has previously been cut (which doesn't matter as I've stuck it down in a removable way with contact adhesive) and the front barrel grub screw is missing as it disintegrated when I removed it (also doesn't matter as the barrel twists on tightly). Very, very light haze in the rear elements (you need to blind yourself with a torch to see it) - £210
- Konica Hexanon 40mm f/1.8, cleaned and regreased. This was seized solid on an equally broken camera but I've stripped and regreased it. Some coating damage on the lens elements which probably won't show up anywhere. Interesting focal length for a film-era lens - £65
- Nikon D100 with kit lens, great condition earlier DSLR model, with box and accessories - £60
- Nikon DX 35mm f/1.8, for crop-sensor Nikon DSLRs, great condition - £65
- Olympus OM-10 with 50mm f/1.8 lens, with new light seals. This was actually already in the shop but I got bored and replaced the light seals - £70
- Minolta XG-M with 50mm f/1.7 lens, in great condition with new light seals (it was a productive Friday) - £60
Coming soon
- I should have a Mamiya 645j this coming week as well, which has the waist-level finder. As the 1000s is still in the shop, I'll price each part up individually and you can cobble together a system. The 645j is a slightly stripped-down version of the 1000s, and therefore cheaper. I've had a few people interested in the 645 system so I'm going to keep trying to pick up bits for it.
- An Edixa Mat Kadett also might make an appearance this week if it's in good condition. Interesting west-German M42 camera.
- I just bought a nice condition black OM-2n, which is a bit less common. Electrically it doesn't work, though, so this is very much a backlog item that I'll be trying to fix over time.
- Another reasonably-priced Topcon camera.

Bonus item: 3D printing
I've just ordered a 3D printer. Now it's been 20 years since I did any 3D work, and even longer since I did CAD, but I'm sure it'll go swimmingly.
I'll be designing and printing some small items for the shop for film photography, which will be reasonably priced! I'll make the files available for those of you with your own printers too.
If you have any ideas for things to print or want something printed as a one-off, drop in and chat (or send me an email).
See you next time!
Note for this coming week: I'll be leaving the shop a bit earlier on Thursday due to a regular injection appointment for my cat. But I'll be in until at least 4pm. Friday and Saturday I'll be around all day as per usual.
