Weekly stock update

Weekly Update, November 2025

Very slow week in the market this time around, and bloody cold too. On the upside I did get some pricing done!

New stock

  1. Zorki 10. This is a very stylish, somewhat bizarre soviet rangefinder with automatic exposure - £45
  2. A Konica Pop in blue, with original case, manual, and I've fitted new light seals (which were a pig) - £50
  3. My favourite of the new items is a Corfield Periflex 3, which is a British pseudo-Leica with a periscope focusing system. Fabulously interesting and comes with its 45mm f/2 kit lens, but I do want to clean the finders and regrease the lens. It's on display in the market and technically for sale, but I won't get around to sorting it for a few weeks yet - £210 when cleaned up.
  4. A Ricoh AF-5 compact in good working order. I rather rate this compact and it's not very well known, despite its 38mm f/2.8 lens. I now have two of these again so reducing the price to £40 each.
  5. Another Minolta-16 subminiature camera. There's a few of these now too so reducing their prices to £40 each as well. All in great condition.
  6. Minolta Hi-Matic AF2. These seem to be weirdly expensive sometimes online, for some reason. Again has a 38mm f/2.8 lens, which is nice. £50 with new light seals (which I haven't done yet but will likely do this week).

Coming soon

I have a few new TLRs on the way that need some servicing before being available. The current list is a Minolta Autocord, Yashica 24, a Primoflex, and a secret mystery TLR.

Fresh film

The expired film supply is gradually going down, so I'm looking to start stocking some forms of fresh film. This is partly because I've been having to sell my own supply with cameras and I don't think it's very helpful having someone's first ever roll of film being something like Harman Phoenix because that's all I had on me.

I've got a small amount of film I found good deals on arriving this week, and I'm in contact with one company around distributing some of their film soon - nothing confirmed yet but I'll keep you updated on that.

I'll be seeing what the temperature in the market is like once the heating kicks in and then I'll figure out if I need to make any changes to storage.

My goal is to stock affordable film options but this means what I have available will vary from week to week. It'll still be more expensive than online stores, probably, but at least people will be able to buy a sensible first roll of film when buying their cameras.

3D Printing

I've tweaked the design of the 3 slot 120 film holder to have less of a suction effect when removing the lid whilst holding together firmer. There's a few of the new design and a number of the older ones in the market now.

If I get time this week I'll rework the 5 slot designs again, though from chatting to people it looks like I'm somewhat alone in always carrying at least 5 rolls of film with me.

See you soon!
