Tonight is the night!
Hey friends!
Just sending one last message in hopes you'll join us tonight at the Golden Dagger for the Chicago Rhythm All Stars.
The night will kick off at 8:15 with a solo set from JLinZ, a local percussionist, producer and vocalist. Live electronic beats augmented with real percussion and vocals will get us warmed up and dancing.
Calculated Discomfort will take the stage next. We'll playing some new very cosmic tunes. The band features Erica Miller on cello, Stephanie Alma on vocals and percussion, Karl Maher on guitar and myself on drums.
The night will close with a performance from tap dancer / vocalist Chandler Brown and her band. It's going to be a soulful set full of intricate tap rhythms and driving organ.
