Looking forward + a little show this Saturday

Happy Tuesday friends!

First off, thank you so much to those of you who joined us for the dance party in Grant Park. I'm still buzzing off the joyous energy our community brought that night. The idea of Dances for Different Bodies truly came together in a wonderful space.

It's been a wonderful music-filled summer. Between Grant Park, the music showcases in the local parks, and the many gigs playing friends music, I'm feeling as inspired as I've ever been to keep pushing the music and culture forward.

With these good feelings in my heart, I'm going to be pulling the band back from public performance for a couple months to focus on some new and fresh material. I've had a bunch of ideas bouncing around my head for a while and I'm now feeling the band and I are ready to dig into a lot of them. Courtacy of a fellowship I received from Bodies of Work, we'll be able to spend a healthy amount of time in the studio, so that means both new recordings and fresh concert experiences are on the way.

Before all that though, I'm doing one more original music concert this Saturday 9/3 at the Store on Halsted in Lincoln Park. I'll be performing in a trio of bass, guitar and drums and we'll be playing some of my lesser-played tunes and some tunes written by our guitarist Marcos Rios. It's going to be a musically enertgetic but socially low-key time. We play at 9:30 for a $10-$15 suggested donation.

Full details and RSVP here.

Hope to catch you there,

Tommy

P.S. Prosthetic vinyls are due to come in later this fall, so stay tuned for that. There will be a celebration event.
