We'll be returning to The Green Lady this coming Tuesday from 8:00-10:00pm. It's a pretty sweet low key pub and especially nice for fans of craft beer.
Golden Dagger Open Jam Monday 7/19
I'm hosting the open jam session at the Golden Dagger (formerly Tonic Room) a week from Monday. I've got a special edition of the band featuring Naydja Bruton on drums and myself on percussion to play the opening set. Come listen and play with us.
Soundtracking Disability Pride Month
Did you know July is Disability Pride Month? If you need an appropriate soundtrack while catching up on your reading about the history of disability activism and culture, don't for get Dances for Different Bodies is on all music platforms, but also I highly recommend listening to this song Stephanie Alma just released. It's a meditation on the experience of a blind woman traveling through Chicago, and it's full of emotion and insight.
